Bursitis
Bursitis is inflammation of the Bursa usually occurring at the shoulder, elbows and Knees. Bursae are fluid filled sacs meant to decrease rubbing between tissues near the joints. These sacs can become inflamed as people get older, due to traumatic injury or repetitive stress injury on a joint. The condition, which can be aggravated by misaligned joints and bone length discrepancies, results in pain and subsequent loss of range of motion due to immobility.
Chiropractic adjustments realign the joints affected, thereby reducing a major source of inflation and allowing tissue repair and pain relief.

Neck pain and associated conditions
Our neck –also called cervical spine – allows our head to move in almost every direction, but this same range of motion makes our neck susceptible to injury. Injury can result due to extended sitting, repetitive movements, accidents and aging. Neck pain radiating to the back and arms is associated with whiplash, osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease.
Fibromyalgia
This disorder is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain and is believed to be associated with changes in the way the brain processes pain signals. Fibromyalgia most frequently affects women and individuals with the disorder might also experience tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, anxiety, depression and irritable bowel syndrome. Your chiropractor can diagnose the disorder or discover other causes for the symptoms. This will allow your provider to put together an effective treatment plan or refer you to the appropriate specialist.
